    The Pennsylvania governor issued a stay-at-home order that will last until at least May 8, 2020. Additionally, most courts throughout the state have been closed to the public even though they are operational. They have limited staff and are addressing urgent matters through emergency administration orders. Cases are being handled video teleconferencing, other electronic mediums, and the mail. While you should plan on having the required work completed by the original deadline, you may be able to request a continuance if the COVID-19 crisis has affected your ability to carry out your duties.

    Most Pennsylvania courts are not accessible by the public but continue to operate through teleconferencing and other technological means. You should plan on completing the work that was necessary for the originally scheduled deadline, such as completing reports or accountings.
